Bible Reading: James 5:13-18
“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:15).
Faith is the conduit between man and God. It is important in the life of a praying believer as the scripture confirms that without it, it is impossible to please God. “Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase,” submitted Martin Luther King, Jr. A prayer of faith means a prayer you offer believing in His promises firmly, even when you have not seen the physical manifestation of the promise yet.
The centurion, a soldier, had a sick servant and met Jesus for the healing of the man. This man had faith in the prayer of our Lord to a point that he told Him not to bother following him to his house to pray for the sick. He believed when Jesus prays anywhere at any time, the sick will be healed and distance is never a barrier to His miracles. His servant was healed according to his great faith. You may be going through some challenges now, but your prayer of faith can turn the situation around for you and move your mountain away.
