Bible Reading: Acts 27:13-25
“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me” (Acts 27:25).
Stormy weather refers to a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds, rain, thunder, lightning or snow. Naturally living things, including human beings avoid storm except the eagle. The eagle is the only bird that embraces the turbulence of the storm to fly higher as it takes the advantage of strong winds to achieve such feat. Storms of life are inevitable. Storms like persecution, hunger, academic setback, inadequate provision, loss of close relatives are common to believers. Storms do not signify the end of the road. If the storm comes your way, do not be perturbed like sinners who have no hope. God is aware of your situation every time. He will work it out for you.
There is safety under the wings of the Lord. No amount of storm can flush out the water inside the coconut fruit. Apostle Paul got to Rome despite the storm on his way. With Jesus in your heart, you will surely smile during stormy moments. However, make sure you are a child of God to enjoy the promise of His presence in times of challenges.
